Tazio Giorgio Nuvolari (Castel d'Ario, 16 November 1892-Mantua, 11 August 1953) was an Italian motor racing and motorbike pilot. He was European Champion of Drivers, European Champion of 350 cc in 1925, winner of the Mille Miglia in 1930 and 1933 and of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1933. In 1920 he began his sporting career on motorbikes. In 1923 he competed in the III Grand Prix de Penya Rhin de voiturettes at the Circuit de Vilafranca del Penedès. He raced in red in a car of the Italian brand Chiribiri, managing to arrive in 5th position. He did not manage to compete in the Formula 1 World Championship as he retired in 1950, the same year the competition started. He did in the European Championship in the 30's.
