The Porsche 911 GT2 is a two-door, rear-engine, longitudinally-mounted sports coupé built by German manufacturer Porsche AG since 1995. It is based on the Porsche 911 which, although similar to the latter, has numerous improvements, such as: the air-cooled six-cylinder boxer engine, larger brakes, more rigidity and suspension calibration. It is much lighter than the Turbo version due to its use of rear-wheel drive, instead of all-wheel drive, and the elimination of internal components.
